Tip: book tickets in advance to avoid long lines and enjoy breathtaking city views. 

Brunch or lunch : Head to Le Café de l'Homme, a chic restaurant near the Trocadéro, offering stunning Eiffel Tower views and delicious French cuisine.

Afternoon: On your way for the Champs Elysés, see the Petit Palais, a stunning Beaux-Arts building on Avenue Winston Churchill. This museum has an impressive fine arts collection, including works by Rembrandt, Monet, and Delacroix. Walk in its beautiful galleries and don't miss the tranquil inner garden.

Tip: Entry to the permanent collections is free, so take your time to enjoy the masterpieces.

Just a short walk from there, you'll find the Grand Palais, an architectural masterpiece with its iconic glass roof. This historic site hosts world-class exhibitions, from contemporary art to historical retrospectives. Check their schedule in advance to see what's on display during your visit.

Tip: Grab a bite at a nearby café before shopping along the Champs-Élysées and visit the Arc de Triomphe. Don't forget to climb to the top for another panoramic view of Paris.

Dinner: Dine at Le Relais de l'Entrecôte, famous for its mouthwatering "steak frites" (french fries -but originally from Belgium ;)  and secret sauce.

Day 2: Art and Culture

Morning: Explore the Louvre Museum, home to masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Pro tip: Focus on one section to avoid feeling overwhelmed and book your ticket in advance. If possible, choose early morning.
Lunch: Stop by Le Fumoir, a cozy restaurant near the Louvre, for a refined French meal.
Afternoon: Visit the Musée d'Orsay, housed in a former train station, to admire Impressionist works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir.

Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Le Consulat, a historic café frequented by artists like Picasso and Van Gogh.

Afternoon: Discover the Musée de Montmartre, a lesser-known museum showcasing the neighborhood's artistic history. Then, explore the Passage des Abbesses, a hidden shopping arcade.

Dinner: Dine at Le Coq Rico, a restaurant specializing in roasted poultry and seasonal dishes.

Day 4: Pastries, Parks, and night visit.

Morning: Start your day with a croissant from Du Pain et des Idées, one of Paris's best bakeries. Then, visit the Opéra Garnier, a stunning architectural masterpiece.

Lunch: Grab a sandwich from Chez Alain Miam Miam at the Marché des Enfants Rouges, Paris's oldest covered market.

Afternoon: Relax at the Jardin des Tuileries and cruise along the Seine River at night. A nighttime Seine River cruise is one of the most enchanting ways to experience Paris. As the city lights twinkle and iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Louvre Museum glow against the night sky, you'll see Paris in a whole new light. Companies like Bateaux Mouches or Vedettes de Paris offer evening cruises, often with optional dinner or champagne. You probably saw hundreds of image of the renovation now it's time to see it in real! Admire the intricate Gothic architecture, the famous gargoyles, and the stunning rose windows. 

Tip: Take a leisurely walk along the Seine River and cross the Pont Neuf bridge for picturesque views of the cathedral. 

Lunch: For a quintessential Parisian dining experience, head to Le Saint-Régis, a charming bistro located on Île Saint-Louis, just a short walk from Notre-Dame. This cozy spot offers classic French dishes like escargots, duck confit, and steak frites, all served in a warm, rustic atmosphere. Pair your meal with a glass of French wine and enjoy the authentic Parisian vibe.

In Versailles, there is not just the main Palace; there is also Le petit Trianon, le grand Trianon, and even "le Hameau de la Reine," a little farm for the Queen to pretend to be a farmer. I have to admit this was my favorite section!

Fountains and gardens, even a labyrinth. You can rent a bike to visit it faster, be ready to walk that day!

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic in the gardens or dine at La Flottille, a restaurant near the Grand Canal.

Afternoon: You can easily stay at Versailles as one day is possible there, or you can return to Paris.

Dinner: End your day at Le Petit Cler, a charming bistro in the 7th arrondissement.

Day 7: Sweet Endings and Souvenirs

Morning: Indulge in pastries at Pierre Hermé, known for its exquisite macarons. Then, visit the Luxembourg Gardens for a peaceful stroll.

Lunch: Try Breizh Café for authentic Breton crêpes and galettes.

Afternoon: Shop for souvenirs at Le Marais, a trendy neighborhood filled with boutiques and art galleries. Don't miss the Musée Picasso if you have time.
